Jun 27, 2005 I'm a Dive Instructor who's been diving since Aug of 1995 while I was still back in college. I took up Computer Science and when I realized how big a mistake that was I just finished it and said what the hell. I've worked in several resorts in the Philippines and even in Taiwan when I went there to study Mandarin. As of this writing I'm based in Turks and Caicos Island, British West Indies working as an Activities Supervisor for Amanyara Resort. I handle the beach, gym and tennis courts. I've seen my first one in 2000 at Tubbataha Islands and I've yet to see my second one. Once I have, I'll have it on a tatoo on my right shoulder blade. As a dive instructor I believe in the saying "If something is worth doing, it's worth doing right the first time". Some people have called me strict, some people have called me stern, but most people will say that I'm thorough. Although diving has statistically become a lot safer compared to a decade ago there are still inherent risks, and as such one's training must be taken seriously. As a person we will always be faced with challenges and as such we should always keep an open mind to new experiences that will enrich our lives.
